Apply For A Scholarship
This year, the BitB team voted to grant 6 scholarships to Beauty in the Backyard “The Chrysalis”:
3 Full Scholarships cover 100% of a full experience pass.
3 Half-Scholarships cover 50% of a full experience pass.
Eligibility:
The scholarships will be allocated to those with multiple intersecting identities including BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, South Asian, Asian, Diasporic, Immigrants & People of Color) communities. Other intersectional considerations for BIPOC include LGBTQIA+ communities, those eligible for public assistance, are experiencing discrimination, medical expenses, have dependents, previously incarcerated, living with a disability, among many others.
Please do not apply for a scholarship if you have the financial means to attend without support.

Our team will review the applications and reply with a decision to everyone who applies.
Decisions are made based on financial need and aligned values.

These scholarships are for people in our community making a difference and spreading the mettā mission.
We want to reserve this scholarship for those who will truly benefit the most from participating in this experience.

Camping is included, and you are responsible for your travel to and from the venue.
