Alysia Swint

Embodiment Flow - Yoga Class

A feminine influence on traditional asana practice, this class combines hatha and vinyasa techniques into a dynamic flow focused on feeling good and working into the crevices of the body that are rarely reached. Through dynamic postures, students are guided into the deep depths of their bodies allowing music and breath to guide their practice. This flow incorporates isolated holds and fluid movement, and the nature of the flow is designed to meet you where you are at in your practice and allow you to create a mind, body connection that can transcend the mat. By allowing fluidity and exploration to guide this practice, students will feel life force energy as they utilize transitions that allow their body to gradual move from one posture to another. This practice is both challenging and nurturing. This is not just a practice for female identifying bodies, but is available for all bodies to balance both feminine and masculine energies. All levels of experience are welcome and it supports exploration into a more individualized practice.

Lexi Mondot

Menstrual + Womb Healing Basics for all Genders

Many of us are familiar with the Circadian rhythm, how the rise and fall of the sun every day affects the rhythms and hormones in our bodies. There is another rhythm- the Infradian rhythm, that affects us just as much, but we are largely unaware of how much impact it has on our daily lives. The infradian rhythm is a 28 day cycle dictated by the moon that dictates the fertility hormones of all plants, animals and humans on earth. It is present in all, but manifests more heavily in those who menstruate. This cycle has four distinct phases where we biochemically become four very different people with our brain chemistry changing 25% throughout the month. And yet, as a society and as people, we are SO DISCONNECTED from this inner force of nature, that we have such large disturbance, disease and discomfort in the mind, body and spirit in a world that is designed for circadian rhythm hormones-only in a hyper-productive culture. This cycle is a direct reflection of the four seasons of the earth, and the more we heal our relationship to our menstrual, lunar and solar cycle awareness, the more connected we become to nature, ourselves and one another- across all gender spectrums. Join the Cycle Witch in a 90 minute workshop to learn the four phases of the infradian, lunar and menstrual cycle. Healing our relationship to this cycle not only increases our vitality and wellness, but also unlocks our full creative potential as humans. When we cherish the life cycle within us of these four distinct phases and understand the strengths, characteristics, sensibilities, brain chemistry, energy levels and gifts of each phase - we are able to put an end to burn out, maximize our creative potential and learn to love + trust our bodies and intuition. Heal this spiritual disconnection that has demonized the lunar cycle, written of as ‘lunatic’, the womb cycle, written off as ‘hysterical’ and menstruation written off as ‘shameful.’ Heal your access to one of the most profound portals to the Universe- the womb and its cycles. This is for all genders, as this healing benefits us all.

Lexi, aka, The Cycle Witch, helps healers, coaches, instructors and spiritual leaders dismantle harmful patriarchal influences from their spiritual, business, relational and life practices using Cyclical Arts- a devotion that revives the most ancient ways of aligning with our bodies, the Earth, and each other by honoring lunar, solar and menstrual cycles. They are dedicated to healing humanity's relationship to these cycles- and all genders' relationship to the menstrual cycle + infradian rhythms as a pathway to ending global warming. They lead the Cuntopia movement to shift us from a dominating, linear and production-based model to one that honors our inner forces of nature to live in harmony with nature’s cycles instead of against it. Lexi has a B.A. with Honors in Dance, a B.A. in Theatre and a Certification in Arts Management from Hollins University. They are a 200hr Certified Yoga Instructor through The Mindfulness Center, have been practicing Cyclical Living and witchcraft for 15 years and instructing/performing dance for over 20 years.

Circular Sorcery

This workshop is an exploration into the symbolism of the sacred circle. Welcoming hoopers of all levels and hoop curious. This class will cover everything from sacred geometry to visualization and breath work techniques that will deepen your hoop dance practice while building a stronger mind, body, spirit connection. Designed to help you enter into a flow state and find your own personal connection to the hoop. After the talk we will pick up our hoops to dance through our emotions and spirit.

When I found hula hooping in 9 years ago I had no idea that this simple plastic circle would evolve a type of spiritual awakening for me. In time I have undergone a powerful transformation, from unsure and lost to grounded and connected. I owe this to the power of the sacred circle and learning how to embody my spirit in dance. It has been the deepest passion of my life and I love having moments where I get to share my understanding of hoop dance to eager students. Nothing brings me more joy than seeing them awaken into the joy of flow also.

The Power Of Touch: Healing Self Touch For Nervous System Regulation

When was the last time you were present with your body? In the fast-paced world we live in, it can be easy to dissociate from the body, which can cause us to store unprocessed stress in the body and miss the signals the body sends us. This can lead to symptoms like chronic tension, anxiety, chronic pain, decreased mobility, poor posture, digestive issues, or low mood. It’s important to be in conscious relationship with your body so that you can process stress and nurture your earthly vessel. This workshop is a chance for you to come back home to your body and release tension through healing self touch. We’ll do a deep dive into how you can work with your nervous system to regulate yourself through gentle practices and techniques that you can use in your everyday life. We’ll explore polyvagal theory, bodywork techniques, the power of touch, various nervous system regulation tools, and what it means to be present with the body.

Mia Becker is an Integrative Health Coach and Somatic Stress Release Practitioner who is passionate about helping others break out of the cycle of chronic stress, regulate their nervous systems, optimize their health, and connect with their authentic self expression so that they can create fulfilling lives filled with ease, joy, pleasure, and play. Nil Akselioglu

I am "The One": The Art of Self-Love and Pleasure

In our culture of online dating apps, missed connections, ghosting and numbing out, finding time and space to cultivate love and pleasure for yourself can be easier said than done. From societal and familial conditioning, we often feel like we need to search for "The One", when the one has always been ourselves, first and foremost. The depth you can love yourself is often reflected in the depth you are able to love another. In this experience together, we will journey into our heart spaces, to remember the beauty each one of us carries within. We will get into the practice of celebrating ourselves, sharing with others self celebration and drop into a guided meditation to anchor the practice into the body, mind and spirit. We will close our circle with community sharing in remembrance that we are all connected and supporting one another on this journey called life.

Feel free to bring a journal/pen if you have one, I will also be providing things to write on/with to take with you in sacred remembrance of the beauty you bring to this world.
