What is MTTA TOKEN?!

PURPOSE:

MTTA token was developed to encourage participation in Mettā Creative events and enhance the party-goers’ experience while embracing the use of cryptocurrency, particularly in ways that align with the spirit of our sustainability and environmental endeavors.

You can now receive discounts on your ticket as well as purchases with vendors at Beauty in the Backyard when you pay in Bitcoin or Ethereum! Additionally we will be airdropping Metta tokens “MTTA” to the attendees of Beauty in the Backyard through the Mettā Connect Social Game (instructions here). You can set up a digital crypto wallet prior to the event if this is something that sounds awesome to you!

Steps to Create a Crypto Metta Token (MTTA) wallet:

  1. Download the Trust Crypto Wallet - https://trustwallet.com/

  2. Select: CREATE NEW WALLET

  3. Backup Agreement page: 

    • Check box

    • Click CONTINUE

4. Recovery Phrase page: 

  • Click COPY

  • *SAVE THIS PHRASE SOMEWHERE SAFE - Recovery/Seed Phrase is 12 words, EXAMPLE:  victory mama cream taco trick wisdom backyard tongue sauce buzz bench metta

  • Click CONTINUE

5. Verify Recovery Phrase page: 

  • Enter your Recovery Phrase

  • Click DONE

6. MTTA Tokens will show up once Beauty In The Backyard (BITB) Staff send you some Tokens!

Beauty In the Backyard Staff will be distributing MTTA tokens to your Wallet based on Metta Connect and other Activities

Your participation and input is helping to drive blockchain technology adoption, which is much more sustainable to operate & creating a more secure and connected world.

You can use any Ethereum (ETH) wallet which supports custom tokens, however Trust Wallet works great!

NOTE: After the festival, you may move your tokens and funds to a new wallet if you like.
